Assel Nussubaliyeva

Assel is a distinguished interior designer with nearly two decades of experience in the industry. Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Assel's upbringing was influenced by both her mother's artistic side and her father's military background, which fueled her passion for design and discipline. Fluent in English, Russian, and Kazakh, she holds a degree in Interior Design from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. Assel's impressive portfolio includes senior living, as well as high-end, multi-family residential and hotel projects for renowned clients such as Hilton, Marriott, Ritz Carlton, Related Group, and Avalon Communities, to name a few. Her work has spanned the globe, with projects in Kazakhstan, Russia, Dubai, and the US.

Beyond her creative talents, Assel excels in project management, handling complex, large-budget and budget-conscious projects while ensuring code compliance, procurement, and contract management. Assel continues to shape stunning spaces that seamlessly blend luxury, functionality, and style.

Outside of work, Assel is a mama bear with a soft spot for rare plant collecting, pets, and a good cup of coffee.
